CONFIDENT. AUTHENTIC. FAMILY.
Our values; the vision that shapes our environment, the core of what Griffins Boxing represents. Through our community programs, we embody these values, extend them inside and beyond the gym walls, and simultaneously, support the initiatives that are close to our hearts.
THE WINGS PROGRAM
There are youth in our community who encounter institutional barriers when they’re working to access boxing instruction. The Wings program allows youth to break through those barriers, and provide the chance to join the boxing gym, develop into an athlete, and provide their ‘wings’, so they’re never stuck on the ropes of life.
The program is open to youth [ages 14-17] living on the North Shore. As they begin their boxing journey, Wings participants follow the Boxtech® Youth program curriculum, a revolutionary, award-winning Boxtech® program using a tiered form of teaching. Participants start at White Gloves® and work their way up through 5 colour levels: Yellow, Green, Blue, Red and Black.
In all of the levels, participants learn new boxing fundamentals: footwork, punches, and combinations. Wings participants graduate to sparring at the Blue level and conclude their term by having the chance to try out for a spot on the Griffins Amateur team.
WINGS PARTNER
Boxfit® Pink
Boxfit® Pink classes are made for the strong ladies in our community who have gone through the battles of breast cancer.
Boxfit® Pink was designed to create a safe and supportive environment, where women can connect with others who have gone through similar experiences, share stories, and find a sense of community.
Boxfit® is closely affiliated with the North Shore Dragon Busters, a local dragon boat racing team composed of breast cancer survivors.

Knockout for A Cause
Everyone has something they’re fighting for. Knockout for A Cause unites individuals, fighting for individual causes, but fighting as part of a team.
Knockout For A Cause is the North Shore’s first-ever boxing fight night of its kind, featuring a wide range of contenders representing every industry. Coming together from a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences, contenders train for one reason: to support the community, and the causes near and dear to them.
Anyone living in North Vancouver/West Vancouver, or working in North Vancouver/West Vancouver, can apply to be a contender and fundraise in Knockout For A Cause. KFAC welcomes participants who have no boxing experience [or basic, beginner-level boxing experience], and are ready to start the journey to step into the ring. Contenders need to be a minimum of 18.
Knockout for a Cause gives contenders the opportunity to fight on behalf of the causes that mean the most to them.
