Come Summer time, there is an abundance of festivals, events, concerts and activities across North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and beyond. At Griffins Boxing, community is one of our pillars, and this is the place to learn more about all of the amazing things happening both across the North Shore, and within the local and greater boxing communities.
Tuesday, July 23 and Thursday, July 25: Boxfit® Babes [Griffins Boxing]
Boxfit® Babes is a cardio boxing class for new mamas, designed as a gentle but well-rounded fitness regime. The unique thing about this boxing class? The babies come to class with you!
The class is accessible, formatted for all fitness levels, and attendees are welcome to join as a drop-in or as a member.

Wednesday, July 24th: Music Bingo [House of Funk Brewing]
Join the House of Funk team for a journey down memory lane, with their Music Bingo Night every Wednesday at 7pm! Reserve your table by emailing reservations@houseoffunkbrewing.com. Get ready to groove to covers, best of hip-hop, funk jams, disco classics, or pop hits of the 00s, each week a different theme, each week a different setlist!

Thursday, July 25: Deckchair Cinema [Polygon Gallery]
Deckchair Cinema treats audiences to a summer of al fresco film screenings. Hosted for 10 Thursdays beginning June 27, the screenings commence at sunset, and will be complemented by music and entertainment leading up to curtain time. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and make themselves comfortable by bringing their own blankets or low chairs. A concession stand will feature drinks from local breweries, which can be enjoyed on Cates Deck, a public zone for alcohol consumption. Admission to Deckchair Cinema is by donation, courtesy of BMO Financial Group, and includes access to the Gallery’s summer exhibitions.

Friday, July 26: Shipyards Night Market [Shipyards District]
The Shipyards Night Market, presented by the Greater Vancouver Food Trucks Festival, is nestled in the heart of North Vancouver, is an iconic staple event of the Summer. Locals and visitors alike experience culinary adventures, artisans, live music, DJs, and the infamous beer garden.
Every Friday night, locals and visitors gather at the Shipyards District to indulge in a culinary extravaganza, explore unique artisan vendors, enjoy live music and DJ sets while unwinding in the lively beer garden.

Friday, July 26: Made in the 604 Weekly Market [Pipe Shop Venue]
Shop local, from more than 60 Vancouver-based small businesses at the Made in the 604. The markets aim to cultivate community, by bringing together all types of creatives to enjoy the best of the 604.

Sunday, July 28: Ambleside Farmers’ Market [West Vancouver]
The Ambleside Farmers’ Market is held at the centrally-located Ambleside Park in West Vancouver – just steps from the Ambleside Village shopping area and Ambleside Beach. Upwards of 50 local vendors set up their stalls every Sunday morning in-season, providing locals and visitors access to some of the regions finest organic produce, artisan breads, and wild foraged treats.

Saturday, July 27: Ultra White Collar Boxing Vancouver [Pinnacle Harbourfront]
Ultra White Collar Boxing presents their Vancouver Fight Night 2025, featuring match-ups from beginner boxers, who have committed to training for their first fight and raising money for charity. Ultra White Collar Boxing has hosted over 3000 amazing, glamorous events across the world!

Sunday, July 28: Music on the Mountain [Grouse Mountain]
Visit the Altitudes patio to enjoy live music by Musos Entertainment artists! This week features Adam Robert Thomas, a Canadian born, JUNO Nominated artist, multi-instrumentalist and music producer. Adam’s background in jazz, funk and soul informs all his performances. His repertoire is focused on feel-good favourites from current radio hits, classics such as Michael Jackson & Bob Marley, and a wide variety of songs back to the 1960’s.
